Heya, just incase anyone wasn't aware yet. David Tennant is on the Derren Brown show on friday night channel 4. I think its on at about 10pm but will be repeated on channel4+1 if you have digital/freeview and maybe it will be put onto the 4od downloadable web tv thingy too? But it sounds like it will be a great moments, Derren just jumps out at David with the aim of making him believe he really is a time lord! Im very excited ^_^
Then on a personal added excitement im going to cardiff on the saturday to go see the doctor who sights and visit the exhibit for my birthday <3 Plus saturday is Doctor Who epsiode day too,yay.

Woke up this morning from a series of odd, recursive dreams. You know the kind, where you repeatedly "wake up" only to realize you're not really awake, and so you "wake up" again, and after a few cycles of this, end up stumbling out of bed, frantic, pacing the bedroom, touching things and flipping on the lights to convince yourself you're actually conscious for real this time? No? Just me?

Okay then. Anyway, after dreaming of trains and storms and ladies in blue-framed glasses and people blogging in Gaelic who were sadly not Peter Carlisle, I finally woke up to the sound of hail rattling off my windows. It was only pea-sized, but it was still no fun to drive in; or walk through, either - even small hail can occasionally sting if a fast-falling pellet zings off your face just so.

Inconveniences aside, though, this is pretty exciting stuff. The weather geek in me insists on loving stormy weather - being amazed at the improbable perfect combination of factors which produces it, and by the sheer power and scary beauty of the storms themselves. Days like this were my favorite as a forecaster - not because they were easy (they were just the opposite), but because I was surrounded by other geeks, who would gather around the radar and ooh and aah over the pretty bow echoes or drag out our charts and graphs and colored pencils and babble delightedly about CAPEs and lifted indeces and MCS and anvil tops and how the atmosphere is "so juicy, you guys!" and -

*facepalm*

I am now officially the biggest nerd you know. Hello!

The phone just rang, it was work asking if I could do overtime next week. Would of accepted except... IT'S MY WEEK OFF NEXT WEEK.

Talking of work, the place is a mess XD The end of our store really DOES look like a bomb has hit it now, even more than before, the checkouts seem so closed in now and there's little room to move at the bottom of them.
They blocked off the chillers in the warehouse to do work on them D|
Also it's annoying that we have to use the temporary toilets, cos like, I go on my break and it takes TIME to walk to the front of the store to use those and walk to the BACK of the store for the staff canteen D|

I don't think I've mentioned the travellers we have near to where I live, yet. They appeared about a over a week or so ago on a field RIGHT next to a freakin' Infant school :/ It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have HORSES running wild EVERYWHERE. Seriously, these horses are NOT tied up and are allowed to roam around free around our streets :/ My dad apparently saw two or three wandering up our road and then they started galloping, which could be dangerous if they ran into someone.
Apparently they're heading to a horse show that starts the first week in June...

My mum is also having problems with my grandad, he's not getting on with my uncle who he lives with, so he keeps saying he wants to move, only when my mum actually FINDS a place for him to live, he doesn't want to move and it's TWICE he's done this now D|

So I'm prepping for a debate tomorrow in which I have to argue the pro or the con of this statement:

US policies established after September 11 have substantially reduced the risk of terrorist acts against the US.

I have to argue one of the sides and won't know until tomorrow which one. The sad thing, while I'm collecting all my Pro arguments, I have a separate section at the bottom of the page refuting each point I make.

I have no idea how I'll BS this if I get Pro. I may just start laughing hysterically. And if Miller's team (my opponents) don't do a good job on Con, I may do both arguments.

It'll be like Formidable Opponent in a way. :D

Also, "(What's the Story) Morning Glory" by Oasis is a kick ass song. I mean, wow.

In keeping with the overall theme of my last week or so, today has not been a very good day.

To illustrate: In the last four hours I have lost a $20 bill* and one of my Servos.

I’m trying to decide whether a nice bout of crying like a girl would be a good stress reliever at the moment or not. Or maybe I should focus on the good things of today, like how much fun the previous post was, or how the nice lady at the Bookstore’s info booth offered to tape my frayed headphones up so I wouldn’t have to spend extra money on a whole roll of electrical tape, or how that $20 may very well rematerialize in a pocket at some point as a fun surprise. But right now, crying seems like the cathartically nice way to go. Or a nap. Followed by a cup of tea.  Followed by going to bed.

Yeah, that might be my best shot.

Hi everyone. I'm Declan Parmalee. I joined this school after my cousin Jeb assured me that it was cool. From what I've seen so far, it looks like it just be! A little bit about myself is in order.

I'm sixteen years old. Jeb will say that I'm academically gifted, but I'm afraid all my time with academics has left me with very little time to be an expert duelist. That's really okay. I consider dueling to be past time. I'm hoping that I will eventually become a worthy duelist, but if I'm to be perfectly honest, I really just want to be able to duel decently, even if it is just for fun.
